The Shisha Pangma is the only completely 8000er stretch out on Tibetan soil. Up to lower, 5000 m the base camp lain highly can be driven as at the Cho Oyu with jeeps - afterwards however the distances from camp to camp are substantial, since the route moves first over little steep area.
