Make sure you are using authorized
agency
There are several groups or individuals, who have
placed websites on Internet and offer very cheap prices
to attract for various trips.
They are not only illegal tour operators,
but also not registered to the authorities, and responsible
to no one. Before going with them, you must know some
facts. If you need a helicopter rescue or something
happens during your trip - it is possible there might
be nobody to help you, or the assistance could be delayed
/ not operated. In other hand travelling without necessary
permits and organizing trip with illegal operators violate
the laws of Nepal, which hopefully you don't want.
Make sure you have proper equipments
Trekking in Nepal and mostly on Himalayan region,
you will need to be well equipped. List of recommended
equipments will be provided on request. You should remember
that most of the trekking equipments are available for
hiring in Kathmandu (at very good rates). Other equipments
of major logistic support such as tents, camping and
kitchen utensils will be provided by our side.
Permits
While permission is not required to trek to most areas,
trekking permit is required for restricted areas. To
get a group trekking permit an application form should
be submitted through any registered trekking agency
of Nepal. Some restricted areas are open only for group
trekkers and trekking permit to these areas will not
be issued to individual trekkers. For detail information,
send email to us -
