Mera Peak is located at the head of the quiet and remote Hinku valley, an area of the Mount Everest region rarely frequented by trekkers or visitors. There are many approaches to Mera; some are easy and some require the crossing of high and difficult passes.

Itinerary
Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu. Transfer to Hotel .

Day 02: Full Day guided sightseeing around Kathmandu Valley. Overnight Hotel.

Day 03: Kathmandu - Lukla by flight. Camp at Lukla.

Day 04: Commence the trek to Mera Peak

Day 05: Today is an easy walk all day passing through the jungle and grassland for yaks during the summer. We arrive at Tsetre for camping. 

Day 06: We ascend slowly passing through the jungle. We find virtually no human settlement on the trail. We arrive at Thaksingdingma for Camping. 

Day 07: We walk all day along the side of the mountain and the trail is narrow. The patches of jungle on the trail become thinner as we ascend near the snow line. We camp at Thagnak. 

Day 08: We ascend slowly passing through the small patches of forest and arrive Khare for the camping. 

Day 09: We ascend for three hours and arrive at Mera Base Camp. There will be snow at the Base Camp, normally from Dayember - April. 

Day 10: Rest day for acclimatization. You can explore around or climb up for a few hours and come back to the Base Camp for the night 

Day 11: We walk up for 4 hours and set up the high camp and make preparation for the next day to get to the summit.

Day 12: Today we go to the summit and the views of Pumori (7161 m.) Lhotse (8516 m.), Makalu (8463 m.), Lobuche (6145 m.) Cho Oyu (8201 m.) are spectacular from the summit. We retrace to Base Camp. 

Day 13-19: Mera Peak Base Camp to Lukla. We follow the same route and come back to Lukla. 

Day 20: Lukla - Kathmandu by flight. Overnight Hotel. 

Day 21: Free day in Kathmandu. 

Day 22: Final Departure.
